Life is like a garden, and reflection is like fertilizer for plants.

Your insights about you and your life provide nutrients for your own growth.

You also get to decide what in your life you want to nurture and grow.

As we say goodbye to 2021, here are 10 questions that you can use to reflect on this past year.

10 Questions to Help You Reflect on 2021

  1. What can you celebrate from this year?
  2. In what ways did you grow?
  3. What made you come alive?
  4. Who can you acknowledge and appreciate?
  5. What losses are you mourning?
  6. Which habits did you let go, and which habits did you embrace?
  7. What surprised you this year about yourself?
  8. What do you want to leave behind in 2021?
  9. What do you want to take with you into 2022?
  10. If you had a word, phrase or image that captures 2021 for you, what would that be?

Take your time asking yourself these questions.

Use these questions as writing prompts for your journal to reflect on this past year.

Or you and a friend can ask these questions to each other. You can maybe even do this with a group of friends and loved ones.

The opportunity here is for you to find out more about who you are, what matters to you, and where your insights are nudging you to explore even more.

When you begin, breathe deeply, and set an intention to be open, maybe even be surprised.

When you complete this exercise, give thanks, and celebrate the journey of your own unfolding.

And by all means, feel free to share this with a friend. 🙏🏽

Abundant Blessings and Namaste.
